Finding the positivity in each day is not always easy, but it can be extremely beneficial when maintaining a positive mindset.
If you struggle with anxiety, you might start feeling like it defines you as a person. This is a reminder that you are so much more than your anxiety, and you are so appreciated and loved.
Negative thoughts will happen, but you can stop letting them consume you. Remind yourself of what you can and cannot control. Take a deep breath and practice grounding exercises if you feel your thoughts are making your anxiety worsen.
If you are an anxious person, you most likely often experience thoughts about worst case scenarios. When you feel the spiral of anxiety begin, take a moment to remind yourself how unlikely these scenarios truly are. Take deep breaths and feel what you need to feel, then let it go.

When you are healing, remember to support your process in any way you can.
If you are feeling anxious, you may experience physical symptoms. This could include (but is not limited to) shortness of breath, nausea, headaches, or fatigue. In moments like these, learning self soothing techniques is incredibly important. Take deep breaths, 5 seconds in and 5 seconds out. Tense one muscle at a time for 5 seconds, then release and repeat the process. Practice mindfulness by closing your eyes and focusing on what is happening in your body without judgment. Find whatever works for you and be sure to utilize it when you need to.
It might be hard for those who don’t experience anxiety to understand how one can seem calm when they’re actually feeling severely panicked. It is important to understand that anxiety can manifest in all types of ways, depending on the individual. Remember to be kind and understanding to yourself or to your loved ones.
Life is uncertain and constantly changing, and it’s normal for plans to be changed or delayed. This might cause feelings of anxiety due to the fact that you may feel like you don’t have enough figured out. Try to take a deep breath and ground yourself.
