Dear PTM Families, Hope this message find you well. PTM families are very important to me, and I want to keep all of the children, families, and staff safe. According to the new directive from the Governor and El Dorado Health Department, Child Care is considered an essential business and at this time we will be open for only those families who work to provide Essential Services to the community as identified by the Governor and Health Department. PTM is closed until next We...dnesday. Starting Wednesday, March 25, 2020, we will be implementing the following procedures. For the health, safety, and out of an abundance of caution for all children and families, we will be implementing a more stringent illness policy any child having a cough, fever, running nose, sore throat, or any respiratory signs will be excluded, including any siblings, for a minimum of 14 days without a Doctor’s note. At this time, we are staying open on a limited basis, our new hours are 7:30 am -5:00 pm. Due to the vulnerability of very young children, we will be temporarily closing Pine Top Nursery located at Ridge Church. During this time we will be implementing the following procedures: Upon arrival, all children will be taking temperature at the front door. Children may enter with temperature below 100F. As always, have children wash or sanitize their hands before taking them into the classroom. We will continue to follow best practices for hand washing and sanitizing all surfaces. Families will provide their own lunches to cut down on the spread of germs. The teacher will serve snacks to children while wearing gloves. We will continue washing toys frequently. Per State’s mandate, we are only allowed to have a stable group of fewer than 12 children. The 12 highest essential families will be selected. This will be in effective until the Governor provides a new directive. Thank you for all of your patience and cooperation in these tough times. Stay home, be healthy and safe.
