{S H A K E Y} ohhhh boy, the #bosu kicks it up a level. By adding the bosu ball into a quadruped series, it really challenges the stabilizers (shoulders, abs, glutes). Have you tried this yet?

The {N O T * C L A S S I C A L} but still good series, Wunda Chair 3 of 3. Lightly gripping the end of the Cadillac is useful in so many ways, especially since I have an Exo chair which is smaller than the regular combo chair. Here I’m externally rotating the legs, adding a calf raise and some extra glute work.

The {N O T * C L A S S I C A L} but still good series, wunda chair 2 of 3! The limbs are lightly weighted to increase the stretch and to feel the burn. Tush lats obliques winning combo!

The {N O T * P I L A T E S} technically.... but still good series. Wunda chair 1 of 3. I have the springs on 0, 3 which was perfect for me right now but could go heavier if someone has better hip stability then ol’ swivel hips over here . Try it with an ankle weight on the bottom leg and report back!

{B A C K * W O R K} this is the third and last exercise I’m posting on the Pilates arc, but there are soooo many things you can do with this bad boy. I love it! Here I’m doing the #basipilates exercise, pulling straps 2, but I like to call it T to tush with my clients. I chose to do it with my legs in frog position because it get better on my lumbar spine. I really felt my mid and lower traps and lats on this one. In fact my upper back is still sore a few days later. Love that!! @kinetix365 #invarley

{B A B Y * S T E P S} I am definitely NOT ready for a real teaser yet. Will I ever be? Yes! My brain wants to do it but my body is like nope girl you housed a baby in here and we’re still working our way in. So I’m being patient. patient-ish. ANYWAY this is my compromise and it is pretty divine I have to say. The arc gives me the lumbar support I need and the thoracic stretch I double need right now. Give this one a go if you want to try a nice teaser progression or the full teaser on the box gives you sweaty palms. I use one red spring!

{T H R E E ~ F E R} sooooo I definitely don’t have as much time to dedicate to my own practice so it has forced me to get creative. The next two days I will show other exercises you can do with the Pilates arc. This exercise here is working obliques, arms, and glutes. Three-fer for the win!!! I do it on one yellow spring but you could do blue if you’re a beast

{S Q U A T * E X T E N D} I love doing arm work standing at the Cadillac for a myriad of reasons, and this combo is a fun way to mix it up.

{F U N C T I O N A L} I have found myself balancing my body in the weirdest ways as a new mom. Everything is done with one arm holding the baby and the other arm is trying to do a million other things so my leg, foot and mouth have to take on more roles I’ve also found myself having a hard time regaining my balance, obviously my center of gravity is different, but also my core strength is still very weak. I started doing this move early on. At first I would hold onto something for support if I needed it, and then moved on to the full move. It’s helped me to find my abs in a very functional way. Trying to get up from a sitting position whilst holding a 11 pound baby takes some serious go-go gadget abs. PS sorry for the serious face but this exercise is harder then it looks. #11weekspostpartum
