Is it #Wednesday already? Don't you love those 3 day weekends Last week I talked briefly about what happens in a #lifecoaching session. Many of you responded privately and I thank you! It appears everyone could use a #coach.... Today, I wanted to clarify why you WOULD NOT hire a coach & why you WOULD hire a coach... Here's a few ideas of why you WOULDN'T hire a coach: if you are not ready to commit to doing the work if you are dealing with #depression, #anxiety or #mentalillness if you are looking for collusion &/or affirmation You might instead need a trained therapist. The right coach will ask questions, listen & reflect what they hear. They will challenge you to think in new directions. A coach will focus primarily on looking to the future, finding new ways to act & think rather than deal with the past. Even the best coaches will not solve anything for you, they are not your friend. Instead you will be lead towards the discovery process, you will be supported and prepared for your new path in life. Pretty exciting, right?! Why Hire a Coach? Great question!
