Good bye Pie Fridays... Hey everybody, I did a lot of soul searching over the weekend and realized that I love making pie for people but I don't want to have a restaurant. I'm shutting down my Kickstarter(all pledges get immediately voided). Forgive me for getting your hopes up and then backing out but I guess being on the precipice of opening a place made me realize it wasn't right for me. I'm forever grateful for your love and support and honored that you chose to eat my pies over others. I used this quote once before but I think it's fitting here too. Kickstarter Pie Party Tomorrow, Friday the 28th!!Free Pie, beer and wine for all! Okay you guys, I'm baking pies right now. It's in my backyard at 99 Lilac st at 25th st which is a tiny alley in between Mission and Capp st in the Mission. Here's a photo of my fence. There is a gate on the far end. It's between 4 and 7 pm. I have no idea how many people will stop by so until it gets later and I see how many people are showing up please limit your amount of pie to 2 slices so we can as much as possible to everyone. Here's your chance to try my pie if you've only heard of it but never had it! Sunny skies for the pie party! I was nervous this morning but the weather says it'll be clear on Friday. I'm having Mixed Berry, Key Lime, Pumpkin with a Ginger Cookie Crust, Double Chocolate Cheesecake and Toffee Banana Cream. Here's my Kickstarter update. I'm pumped because we're 20% funded. Yay you! Hello! Here's my daily Kickstarter update/reminder and info on Friday's pie party (free pie for everyone!) But I know with your support we can totally do it. So on Friday the 28th from 4-7pm I'm having a Kickstarter pie party in my backyard in the Mission! Kickstarter Pie Party Announcement! Hi you guys! One minute ago I submitted my project to Kickstarter to be okayed by them! I'm aiming to have it live by Friday but I don't know how long their process takes. In celebration of our Kickstarter Campaign I'm having a Kickstarter Pie Party on Friday, March 28th! It's been so long since you've had Pie Fridays in your belly that I thought I'd offer free pie and beer and wine while you wait for it. Just finished my Health Dept Hearing...Oh my gosh, it was really an actual hearing with a judge in this gigantic courtroom. Here I am freaking out about it. But the wonderful people down there just gave me a warning with no fine--which they did not have to do. So I'm formulating my next move based on info I got today.
