To our wonderful patients: We hope that you and your families have stayed well over the past several weeks. We are making several new changes in order to help minimize any risks for our patients and staff given the COVID-19 pandemic. Our safety precautions have expanded to include changes that you will notice right away when you come in for your next appointment. We will also need your cooperation to ensure the safety of all of us. When your next appointment is scheduled, ple...ase take the time to review any emails sent with new information and protocols to help you prepare for your next visit with us. Before you arrive: All patients will need to complete a COVID-19 screening questionnaire prior to their appointment. You will receive this questionnaire in your appointment confirmation email, and should bring it back with you to your appointment. Please call us to discuss any areas that may be of concern and we ask that if you or anyone in your household is not feeling well, that you please let us know and stay home. Face coverings are required to enter the office. We will be limiting the number of patients inside the office at any given time. No one under 18 is allowed to enter unless they have an appointment scheduled. Arrival: Once you arrive at the office door for your appointment, you will have your temperature taken with a non-contact thermometer before you will be permitted further entry. Anyone with an elevated temperature will be asked to reschedule their appointment and see their Primary Care Provider. (Please remember that in the warm Summer months your temperature may be elevated simply by waiting in a hot car, so try to use your air conditioning prior to arrival to avoid delaying your appointment.) Office: Hand sanitizer will be used on arrival. You must maintain social distancing of a minimum of 6 feet and must stay behind the safety shield at the front desk when checking out. Appointment times must be honored carefully, and you may need to reschedule if you are late to avoid causing others to miss a scheduled appointment time as we must limit the number of patients in the office at all times. Treatment: You will notice that Dr. Stuart will be wearing personal protective equipment to ensure your safety and the safety of our other patients and our staff. You will also be asked to review our new COVID-19 patient safety protocols on your first visit to the office.
