I am grateful for my low tech teen years. Kids today endure some serious pressure being inundated by filtered photos. While I will remove blemishes, I don't photoshop my client's photos. I want you to celebrate your beauty and your photos to look like you!! And yes, my junior high yearbooks have these LOL

I was especially drawn to the teenage girls in Haiti. It was interesting to see how the girls posed themselves for photos, how they tried to appear so tough and untouchable. Then they couldn't keep the act up, and their smiles made them look like the young girls they really were.

Traveling to Haiti in December 2016 was life altering. Thinking today of the young girls I met who will soon become women (much sooner than they might in other countries) and all the hopes I have for their lives, all the hardships I hope they don't have to endure and the joy I hope they will experience. #IWD2021#lovetohaiti #educategirls #supportwomen

I am excited to showcase my new studio in 2021, since unfortunately I have not been able to use it much this year. Just a reminder, there is so much joy to be had from showcasing printed photos whether it’s a canvas, photo box, wood, acrylic or a beautiful album. While my photography style is a little different, I definitely laugh this much with my headshot clients in the studio. For me, it is important to capture genuine smiles and prodcue a photo that my clients will love (as much as anyone can with as much as we all dislike photos of ourselves LOL). What an unexpected year it was. I know we are all quick to think about the frustrations and challenges that we faced.
