Hi I’m Francesca and this is me snuggling my oldest little love. This is from over 3 years ago and it’s still is one of my favorite photos. Why? Because it captures this dude at this particular phase of life - when I could wrap my arms around him and he fit tucked in under my chin, when for the one and only time in his life he cut off all his fabulous hair, when he was missing too many teeth that his sweet smile was shaped like this. This is what I aim to capture for my cl...ients. Capture a moment in time. I’m not a props family photographer. So glad this session with this ridiculously gorgeous family was last night, before it turns into the surface of the sun with this heat wave Give me your tips and tricks for being able to stay remotely comfortable this 100+ degree Labor Day weekend .

Getting a little more pep in my step as each day seems to be going a bit smoother with virtual learning. Monday was ROUGH. Yesterday was way easier, but I still passed out on the couch at 7:00. So grateful for all the amazing teachers and school staff working like crazy to make this work during all this craziness. A teacher friend said it’s like flying a plane while it’s being built . We all need to give the kids, teachers, and ourselves lots of grace and patience

Filmed a time lapse of this edit last night for my first ever attempt at a reel. Just when I think I’m too old and couldn’t care less about any aspect of social media, along comes this one that was fun to play with to show this edit process. Not saying I’ll ever actually attempt it again though because Editing choices are so unique to each photographer’s vision.
