How precious is this family? I had the pleasure of capturing Dee’s maternity and family photos in one session. I love including kids in maternity sessions, this is a big moment for them too! I always enjoy bringing families to this wilderness because being innature like this isfun and bonding foreveryone.

Happy Monday y’all. Took a long break from posting, and what a way to start it off with a surprised proposal. Andrew and I pulled off the perfect surprise for Kim by secretly plotting to take over their pre-scheduled family time at the beach. Big congratulations @xokimme7 and @cogswell.

It is always exciting when I get to watch my wedding couples family grow. Jeannie & Phi are expecting baby Zayn to join their family sometime this month or next. With every maternity shoot I do, I think I get just as excited as the expecting parents. Who would have known how invaluable these moments would be. I am still in shock over the sudden loss of Tina. I hope one day when Davina is old enough that she can look back at these photos and see just how happy and excited her parents were to meet her...to know just how much she was already loved by her mother. My thoughts and prayers go out to Tina’s husband, David, their newborn daughter, Davina and their entire family. In a time of such uncertainty due to COVID-19, Jailene and Jonathan tied the knot over the weekend in an intimate backyard wedding amongst their family. Seriously, it felt just like yesterday when I shot her sweet 16 and now she is a beautiful bride. Congratulations to you both!

This may be a family session, but the sweetest part may be the big sister to-be Elena! Is this not the most beautiful family ever?! We had rain in our forecast for Nancy and Justin’s wedding ...but we lucked out and the weather was perfect for our bridal party session. Shortly after we were done...it started pouring. It is also said that when it rains while you ‘tie the knot,’ your bond will be especially strong. So glad they had their ceremony done indoors during the rain.

There's something about the beautiful high desert at Joshua Tree. My third time here shooting and it gets better every time. I love the emptiness, colors, rock formation and gentle wind for this session.

I had the pleasure of shooting an engagement session for Lauren & Luke at Joshua Tree during Easter weekend. Lucky for me, these guys are naturally cuddly and were totally comfortable getting close in front of the camera. I loved that they chose this desert setting for their session as the weather was just perfect. I hope you guys enjoy this set.

Totally in love with Amie and David's engagement session on the hills of Irvine in these stunning golden fields. These two were so great in front of the camera and I cannot wait for their wedding this September.
