Chilling and prescient words in the SF Chronicle this week about Marin City: Now, as the coronavirus exacerbates the nation’s income disparities, communities like Marin City will disproportionately bear the body slam.* While the mission of Arts+ is to support the students at Bayside Martin Luther King, Jr. Academy, we are deeply concerned about all aspects of these children’s lives. A friend of Arts+ just donated her $200 stimulus check to stimulate" the economy in Marin City. We thought this was a brilliant and compassionate use of these funds put to work where stimulus is needed most.
