Meet our Team Suzanne Murdoch is the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Pacific Hotel Management, LLC. She is responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing efforts for PHM properties. Suzanne has been in her position since 1995. Suzanne Murdoch's 30 years of hotel experience in sales and marketing include positions as Director of Sales & Marketing with such companies as Hilton, Sheraton, Hyatt and Holiday Inn. She has successfully developed and implemented mar...keting plans, strategies and promotional programs to lead hotels to achieve or exceed sales goals and budgets. During her tenure with Hyatt Hotels she was awarded with the prestigious award of "Sales Team of the Year". Suzanne Murdoch has been an active member of Meeting Planners International for over 25 years serving on numerous committees. She is also a former chair of the Palo Alto Downtown Marketing Committee and formerly served on the Board of Directors for the Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce. She is also actively involved with fundraising efforts for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. She attended the University of Michigan with a major in Marketing. Suzanne resides with her husband Dave in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

Meet Chef Matt Bolton of InterContinental The Clement Monterey Matt Bolton serves as executive chef at the C restaurant, the exciting and stylish restaurant at InterContinental The Clement Monterey. Since October 2014, Bolton has overseen the entire kitchen operation and, as a hands-on executive chef, works alongside his team in the preparation of every dish. Bolton’s inspiration derives from the abundance of fresh ingredients provided by local purveyors as well as from the ...bounty of seafood available off the spectacular Pacific Coast which the C restaurant overlooks. The C restaurant’s menu of fresh, seasonal cuisine includes many of the special dishes that have become Bolton’s signature offerings during his stellar culinary career. Bolton is strongly committed to the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Sustainable Seafood program, as reflected by his carefully chosen menus. A California native raised in Hollister and San Juan Bautista, Chef Matt Bolton was immediately drawn to cooking during his first job as a dishwasher in a steakhouse at the age of 15. He never considered another career, and continued gaining culinary experience right out of high school. Since then, he has been at the stove finding a sense of satisfaction from the focused energy, split second timing, and creative artistry of cooking. Bolton’s cuisine is a daily celebration of the Monterey Peninsula and spotlights the treasure trove of local fisherman, foragers and farmers.
