I am so proud of my nephew Eric [email protected]> Subject: Eric Ascheri and crew... Thank you for chatting with me on the phone. In this terrible time with the virus the riots the elections coming up and all the unrest there is so much negativity out there. I felt it really important to let you know what a great job the Long Beach AHF pharmacy is doing. I’d also like to let everyone know in the corporate office how these folks go above and beyond. I’ll try to make it short. We moved here from Massachusetts six years ago to retire because my husband was in ill health. We’ve always been with CVS back east we lived in a small town so the pharmacy was small and we knew everybody. We came here and had my husband Perscriptions transfer here. He takes 18 pills daily plus his narcotics for his chronic pain transferred to the local CVS. And over the last six years my husband‘s health has gone downhill seriously he’s had four major operations several bouts with infections and now he has a bit of dementia starting. We always got great service at the Long Beach CVS that is until Eric left. Even in a large pharmacy like that he embraced us for some reason actually it seems like he embraced everyone. But once he left I had trouble getting my husband’s pills which he has to take because he has a bad heart he has no thyroid a seizure disorder plus other issues and then there’s the narcotics for the chronic orthopedic pain from all the surgeries. After Eric left CVS there was always some problem there. They either didn’t have the drugs they couldn’t get the drugs or it was billing issue. No one seem to care it was just pumping out those prescriptions. We were down at Belmont shore one day at an art festival and we ran into Eric and his wife. I was so happy to see him he explained that he had left CVS and where he had gone to. We chatted about the problems I was having and he said you can come to AHF and I will make sure you’re taken care of. Best move ever!!!!! We’ve been there for two years now and never had one issue. We are elderly so we love the fact that if we can’t get there for some reason they will come pick up the prescription fill it and bring it back or put it in the mail. Always making sure they have his pills on hand. And they are always there to talk to you on the phone I cannot tell you how many times I’ve called and Eric or the fill in pharmacist Counseled me and made me feel better. They go as far as to bring the pills out to the car because my husband is handicapped and can’t walk so when I’m not able to go with him all he does is call and they walk his drugs right out to the car. This is the kind of pharmacy I remember as a kid. Caring loving and help. A huge thanks to Eric, Arthur and ViVi and all the fill in pharmacist and Tech’s. We truly feel like family.
