Today and every day, we honor and offer our thanks to all our brave military veterans who served to protect the freedoms we enjoy today. Veterans Day originated as Armistice Day: the "eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month" in 1918 which was the end of World War I. This day grew into a national holiday to commemorate all of our country's heroes who served. Thank you, Veterans!

We want to remind everyone to get your bookings in before we fill up - we're not sure what to expect this year, but we want to be prepared! PLUS, we also want to make sure you have enough time to meet your sitter if you haven't already!

Lately, we've been working on our professional development by learning more about different kinds of walks like sensory walks, decompression, and other kinds of enrichment exercises and activities! We’re thinking of beefing up our services to include more hands-on and enriching walks and activities sometime after the New Year, but we'd love your input first. What do you think? Be honest. Your dogs have been asking about us, haven't they? We're all human, but we have to ask... have you walked your dog as much as you thought you would when you got your work from home orders? Daylight Saving Time Alert! Daylight Saving Time ended today. That means we lose an hour and it gets darker earlier... which also means that it's time to protect your pets! If you're going to walk your pets after work or at night, it's time to invest in some reflective gear. And, of course, you can always schedule a walk with us during the time of day while you're busy at work!

October is 29th is National Cat Day! Too bad it doesn't fall on a Caturday, but oh well... we'll take any reason to celebrate kitties! Did you know? As natural hunters, curious kitties are always aware of their surroundings in order to stay safe and survive. That's why when we're around, they naturally want to know what we're doing. With Halloween just around the corner, we thought we'd drop a few reminders about keeping our pets safe (and stress-free)! Especially if you have kids, keep all those human treats and candies out of reach! Skittish animals should stay away from the front door to avoid run-aways or accidents with visitors (if you get any)! Consider using fake candles in your jack-o-lanterns instead. Hiya, Long Beach friends and fam! We just wanted to drop a quick note of gratitude to you all for your patience and ongoing support. Let's face it... this year, things look different. Our whole world looks different! And that means Pet Waggin' Pet Care hasn't gotten through this without looking different, either. We're excited about a lot of these changes, though: a new scheduling software (which we love!), new team members, and ultimately, new friends. ... But one thing that hasn't changed is our ongoing commitment to being the best darn pet specialists in Long Beach and beyond! We will never lose our passion for the community, or your pets. We've been thinkin' about something recently... What's the difference between walking dogs on the sidewalk and walking dogs in grassy areas? Trust us, we totally get it. Life is busy and sometimes ya just gotta GO! But still, as dog walkers, we are doing everything we can to put ourselves in your pup's shoes (or paws). What are they missing out on when they only walk on the pavement? How much fun are they having? We like to take as much time as we can to let your pups stop and sniff the flowers. We want to remind you that letting them take their sweet time to enjoy themselves, release hormones, and engage in their natural instincts is enrichment. And that's what we're all about!
