My Covid Review of 'Birds of Prey' So, like... Birds of Prey. Because - oh who has to give a reason to spark up at 9 PM after the ballets of Zoom? And Margot Robbie is watchable, is what I'd say and the truth is, I'm ... enjoying ...this cartoon iteration. For five minutes at a time anyway... the action weed and speed and sequencing is certainly watchable the director gives us good action sequence, (speed) and combined with Robbie (weed but also she is a charming cinemati...c presence always, she’s really talented at being a movie star - , which lasers the pleasure centers wide open. Sometimes in this viral mist of pods next to your friends and the hasta la vista reality radiohead place we've all come to, floating in our electron soup, it has become possible to enjoy Margot Robbie as one of the most improbably superheroic but delightful things in the world and who is to say us nay? Neigh. Namaste. Birds of Prey is a pleasure. An inconsistent and shameful one, and one needs to be high, but it is a pleasure. PS I couldn’t finish it. It’s one of those movies you can dip into and zip forward onit may be agony in a theater. But then there aren’t any more theaters, are there? So. Five minutes at a time you an enjoy Birds of Prey. Who amongst us could argue with that? Given the asteroid coming, and all.

Working an action line. Seeing HEAT for 23rd time. THIS IS HOW I LEARN nearly everything. By seeing it 100 times and then writing it 50 times. LOL.

We all miss our barber.

I know I don't post much here at the moment- twitter absorbing my limited time. Twitter, as promised, has its biz advantages, but I confess I prefer this longer form here in Facebook, which also seems kinder, gentler and more grounded. (I know this is a contrarian view.) To me, though, Twitter is all razor blades and hidden traps, waiting for you below as you tweet from branch to branch. I miss my FB story doc folks!
