San Diego's home prices continue to hit new highs with a good economy and a shortage of homes for sale. Median price in all of San Diego hit $550,000 in March 2018 and much higher in select areas of the county. This is not a real estate bubble and is expected to go higher into the Summer as demand rises along with the possibility of higher interest rates later this year. Now could be the best time to look for that new home.
As a Realtor and Photographer, I completely agree that good listing photographs can make all the difference in getting attention of buyers and making the sale. This article has a number of good tips for photographing the home when preparing the listing.

Excellent article by my friend, Kirk Effinger, on the problems with getting new development approved despite the need for affordable new housing in San Diego County.
Now could be the best time to sell your home while the market is tight, prices high, inventory low and mortgage rates still low. And if you're a buyer it can be a good time to buy before the prices & rates go higher.
This study shows just how competitive the housing market is in San Diego & all of California. It is in the top 4 cities nationwide and that's why it is tough for buyers in this pricey & low inventory market.
I would love to have this listing to be able to show this house to potential buyers because it is such a unique house and Wright is my favorite architect. Great deal for only $3.25 million.

Good return on your investment here in San Diego and not skyrocketing like in Orange County or San Fran/San Jose/Silicon Valley. Homes are expensive in San Diego, but definitely more afordable than those areas.
Home Prices in San Diego County are up 8.1% from last year, but that is still less than the other Southern California counties, except for Riverside County up 7.5%. Increases are expected to continue as long as inventories of homes for sale remain low.
