The Petaluma PD Traffic Unit encourages parents to invest in their teen’s driver education. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Association, crashes are the leading cause of teen deaths. Statistic show that students enrolled in traffic safety courses, decrease youth collision rates upwards of 50 percent. Fortunately, the California Highway Patrol's Santa Rosa area office will be hosting a free online Start Smart teen driving class. This important two-hour int...eractive road safety skills class will be hosted via Zoom on January 13th from 6pm-8pm.
