Thank you for reconnecting. The ability to see palpable changes. Realistic transformations. And lingering habits solidified the necessity of certain actions. You taught me that it is okay to turn around and look back at what was. Just not for too long.

Thank you for never leaving me. I may have been a drunken mess. An easy-target, An embodiment of bad decisions and pissy life choices. But I was me. Every dark. Twisted. An ugly facet of me. And in breaking me down, you taught me how to build myself back up Team Persia Remeber .....

Thank you for facing a tough decision with me in Oceanside for 4 hours straight stranded in the winds and rain bae, you fell to your knees and reassured me our new journey was worth it. You taught me that I can survive the worst imaginable situation. That I can survive it with you. Remember our beach fire? Romantic Waves.....

You taught me self-love that it exists in breathing, in the monotonic-trance of fiddling with the loose thread on my pjays in the sunniness of the morning while you slept, in the loneliness of the night.

You taught me there is life inside my own ribs and that its life feels like thousands of butterflies lodged in the depths of me & vibrating their wings against my internal organs.
