Fully vaccinated people must wear a mask i) at crowded outdoor events, such as live entertainment/performances, parades, or sporting events, among others, ii) in crowded spaces where physical distancing cannot be maintained and it is not known if everyone in the space is fully vaccinated, iii) in indoor public settings..."

LAUSD Health Ambassadors UPDATE COVID-19 TESTING The testing process is simple. You can make an appointment online, at https://achieve.lausd.net/covidtestingappt at one of the many schools where testing is being provided. There’s a quick check-in upon arrival at the site and a clinician will be there to help oversee the testing. While we recommend the use of nasal swabs, anyone can request a saliva test if they prefer. Both tests are what’s known as PCR tests, the gold standa...rd for COVID-19 testing. The test is free and the process should take less than 10 minutes, start to finish. Test results are handled confidentially. DAILY PASS The Los Angeles Unified has developed a digital tool in partnership with Microsoft, which will be used by all employees, students and visitors to complete the required daily health check for admission to a campus or office. The daily health check will monitor for safe behaviors, physical wellness and potential exposure to the virus. Those who affirmatively complete the daily health check will receive a Daily Pass that can be used for admission to schools or District offices. Any questions regarding the Daily Pass can be emailed to [email protected]. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT Los Angeles Unified has formed a dedicated Community Engagement team to contact those with a positive COVID-19 test result, as well as those who may have been exposed or are not feeling well. LAUSD school board meeting just announced you do not ...I repeat you do not need an appointment for student COVID testing - students with a school ID can walk in if they say anything about not having appointment you tell them the LAUSD board announced it today at 4:00 students with a student ID can walk in and get an appointment!

For those of you in shared custodial situations where you have children going back and forth between two family settings, it is important that you communicate with the other parent when it comes to making decisions about coronavirus and custody. Understandably you and your co-parent may have different views about how to approach this pandemic. Your child (or children) is also navigating the same circumstances and major changes to everyday routine may add to their stress & a...nxiety. Here are some tips: 1. Agree that if one parent gets sick then the other will take the child / children for as long as necessary. 2. Agree that the other parent will have appropriate makeup time when they are better. 3. Do not rely on grandparents stepping in since they are the most vulnerable members of the population to the virus. 4. Stay calm, be present and as agreeable as possible. Now is not the time to argue over whose night it is or who owes money for what. 5. Incorporate regular phone calls, FaceTime, email or text contact with the other parent. 6. Most importantly, follow the CDC guidelines best health practices. Remember as with all custodial arrangments the focus should be on your children and the health of your family! We will get through this together.
