This week we broke ground on the new Paloma Valley High School Aquatics Center! The project includes a 33-meter pool and pool building that will be located behind the gymnasium. The project began by preparing to move the existing G portable classroom buildings which are currently in the footprint of the location for the new pool. We anticipate the pool to be completed and ready for use in July 2022! The Aquatics Center project is the first of many exciting improvements com...ing to Paloma. This includes the construction of a new Multi-Purpose Room with a state-of-the-art culinary program, relocation of the administrative offices to the front of campus creating a new front entrance to the school, and a new Student Union. Construction will begin on these projects following approval from the Division of State Architect which is expected toward the end of this year. See more

We’re very proud of our Paloma Valley High School Campus Supervisor, Sandra Hernandez and her quick thinking
We are excited to announce that PUHSD is planning for a full return of all students to full-time, face-to-face instruction, for the 2021-22 school year. We are dedicated to creating a safe and caring environment for our students as they return in the fall. As we near the beginning of the school year we will clearly communicate the safety precautions necessary to hold face to face instruction. This year has been extremely challenging for all and we have missed our students and staff all being together. We look forward to seeing your student in person in August. If you have not registered your child for next year, please visit the PUHSD website at: https://www.puhsd.org/Administration2/registration .
The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) issued a statement regarding education-based athletics earlier this week. Due to the surge in COVID-19 infections, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) has postponed its update on youth sports guidelines, and as a result, CIF has placed all full practice and competition start dates on hold until updated guidance is issued. PUHSD will continue to hold athletic conditioning and workouts as authorized under Phase One, and as long as state and county health guidelines continue to allow for these activities. The county’s return to the red tier is of the utmost importance for the return to competitions. We encourage all families to continue to stay safe and follow local health guidelines.
