This beauty found its way to the shop! All original unmodified 2001 Ducati 996 with 2800 miles! It had the original tires from show room. Zero rock chips in the paint. You could eat off of the engine bay! We performed it’s first oil change and service. Runs beautifully! Unbelievable! Luckily the owner was interested in selling. All my years of riding/ racing Thunderhill East I’ve always considered turn 1 and 8 to be the worst places to crash just mainly due the sheer speed you’re traveling. This weekend I hit the deck at 100+ due to a freak rain shower in 1. I’ve crashed many times in my career but never this fast. That shit sucks! Luckily I came out virtually unscathed. my helmet punched me in the face so it looks like I was in a bar fight LOL. That’s it though just super sore. I ain’t no spring chicken so I’m super happy.
