The Catalina trunk after final sanding

This is a 1963 Pontiac Catalina convertable. I filled the hoes in the front fender tops where there were mirror s , welded up all the holes in the inner fender wells,filled the hole for the rear antenna. Then removed the old floor and unbent the new parts . then put the bends where they fit .trimmed ,hammered ,offset edge and drilled all the parts .then lots of welding and a bit of sanding

Same part as before ."fitted" the top bend moved up 3/4 of a inch.the left side bends moved about the 3/4?also . 3 sides trimmed of excess and off set edged then drilled for welding

I like to share how well store bought parts fit . folks buy them and believe the sales guy when he says how easy it is to do this . note the end bends are about 1 " off on both ends for starters . just sharing

This is a 57 Chevy Bell air. Hard top that was a race car in the late 70 s early 80s . the body mounts up were hacked .the floor,fire wall. Tubs etc . i re mounted the body to a completly new floor trunk . with 4 new body mounts put back and 2 repaired. Made new lower fire wall ,tunnel,toe boards . installed new rockers both sides .one new door skin. Re did the lower rear around the trunk bottom. Both courners ,welded up the gaps on bothe sides . chucked the stock rear leaf springs and added coil over shocks , adj mounts . rear end locater etc . now im making the tubs from 16 cold rolled sheet . just some of my fun

Sorry i havet posted for awhile. So this is a 71 chevelle ss 4 speed car . with a rust problem . i changed the inner and outter tubs . wherever the tub connected to the floor was rusted off so i made all the floor edges . both quarter panels . the beams in the floor . the rockers . the cowels ( i hand made ) parts of the floor .1/3 of the trunk . and ALOT MORE
