Posting for a client- Toby is a healthy 2 year old male cat. He is neutered and has had all his shots. He’s happiest when he’s outdoors and allowed to move around freely. He’s pretty sociable - likes to keep humans company as long as he can have his own space and some free will. He's pretty playful - lots of energy to bound around. He is a truly outstanding hunter and would be a dream come true for anyone who’s hoping for a cat who can catch rodents/bugs/etc.. The puffy coll...ar he’s wearing is to protect birds. Our family adopted him at the age of 3 months from the SPCA. He’s fully socialized and can be a great companion if he’s given enough space. He has not been a good fit for our home, which has two young children. They will not allow him the space he needs and so he has grown increasingly uncomfortable with them, particularly with everyone stuck at home during the pandemic. It’s with a lot of sadness that we’ve recognized that rehoming him is the best option for him and for us.

"it is important that the receptionist experience during this time be shared. A broad ask is for pet owners to have empathy for the person who answers the phone at your clinic" https://www.southwestjournal.com//why-is-it-so-hard-to-g/
