Yesterday, Cutler Elementary School had a drive-thru food drive where they handed out food to students. Pena’s Disposal Zero Hero made an appearance to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. Here are some of the grateful students we captured during the drive-thru event.

Did you check out the Dinuba Reverse Christmas Parade this past Saturday? Well, Peña’s Disposal Zero Hero was out rockin’ the Christmas carols! Oh what fun!!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! Our office is closed for the holiday we will be back tomorrow, Friday November 27, at our regular time; Thursday & Friday routes will be on a one day delay with Friday’s route being serviced on Saturday, November 28.

Do not throw any hot ashes or ashes with embers in your trash container. If you do, please make sure they have been sitting a couple of days and have been doused with water and there are NO remaining embers. Yesterday, one of our drivers had to pull over & dump the load in his truck due to a fire that ignited in the trash compactor portion. We are fortunate our Driver reacted quickly and was not injured due to the fire.

For your convenience, Pena’s Disposal offers the following options for paying your bill: - Pay your bill with a credit/debit card online at penasdisposal.com we do not charge a fee for paying your bill online - Enroll in Automatic/Recurring payments you can sign up at penasdisposal.com or call us at (559) 528-3909 to enroll there is no additional fee to enroll - Pay by phone with a credit/debit card at (559) 528-3909; our phones are answered Mon-Fri 8a 5p ... We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards for automatic/recurring payments, online payments, and over the phone payments. You can always stop by our Cutler office and pay in person Mon Fri, 8am 4:30p or send your payment via USPS mail.

Did you know batteries are considered hazardous waste? Batteries contain toxic & corrosive materials that pose health threats to our environment when not disposed of properly. We use batteries in our everyday lifefrom the lithium batteries in phones to small button cells in watches or AA in a Gameboy and 9 volt in smoke alarms. Batteries keep us going, but are a hazard if not disposed of properly. Did you know a lot of fires that occur at a transfer station or recycling fac...ility are from running over an improperly disposed of battery? Pena’s Disposal is looking for a qualified Class A/B commercial driver. To complete an application, stop by our Cutler facility, at 12094 Avenue 408, and ask for a Driver application.

Happy 4th of July! We will reopen on Monday July 6th at our regular time and with no delays in next weeks service schedule.

OMG tomorrow is July 1st and half the year is over!!! July 4th is this Saturday and we will be closed to allow everyone to enjoy the social distancing 4th of July holiday. Our Office, Recycle Centers, and Scales will all be closed this Saturday; we will reopen on Monday July 6 at our regular time and there will be no delay in routes. Have a Happy & Safe 4th of July!

CONGRATULATIONS 2020 GRADUATES!!!! We are excited to present The Salvador Peña Memorial Scholarship to the graduates of our Peña’s Disposal Employees. We asked the Graduates to stop by to accept their $500 scholarship and allow us to capture the moment. On behalf of our Father/Grandfather, Salvador Peña and the entire Peña Family we wish all the 2020 Graduates the very best life has to offer in pursuit of their dreams!!!... Jasmine M Cabrera daughter of Melba Cabrera will be attending Fresno Pacific pursuing Business Administration. Jennifer Flores daughter of Margarita Avena will be attending Reedley College pursuing Medical Assistant. Eduardo Jimenez son of Hector Jimenez will be attending College of the Sequoias pursuing Criminal Justice. Melvin A Pastor son of Camilia Pastor Megan Peña Granddaughter of Gabriel and daughter of Art & Maria Peña will be attending Grand Canyon University pursing Psychology. Nathaniel Valencia son of Basilio Valencia will be attending Fresno State pursuing Arts & Humanities.

Due to the holiday on Monday May 25 we are on a one day delay in our service schedule for this week (May 26 30). All routes will be serviced the day after their normal service schedule; Friday’s route will be serviced on Saturday.
