Peled Migraine Surgery 12.12.2020

Today is Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day. It is a day to think about and honor all those people struggling with their diagnosis and to help educate patients about their reconstructive options. I find it remarkable that many patients aren't told about these possibilities during their treatment and will continue to work to change that paradigm. On this day, I also think about my partner in life who is also my partner in the OR and my wife, leading the way in giving these patients the most advanced reconstruction options possible. You continue to humble me with your courage, strength, intelligence and love. #breastcancer #breastcancersurgery #lumpectomy #mastectomy #breastcancersurvivor #breastcancerwarrior #breastSurgery #sanfrancisco #breasties #teamPeled #plasticsurgery #plasticsurgeon #previvor #sensationpreservingmastectomy

A LETTER TO ALL OF OUR PATIENTS....

Peled Migraine Surgery 12.07.2020

We recently received this from one of our patients who is now approximately 6 months following her operation and doing really well. It is so incredibly gratifying and humbling to see people regain their lives after suffering for so long! "My surgery was performed in September 2019. Since surgery, I’ve only had 7 migraines! And, when I get them they are very minimal, less intense than the pre-surgery migraines. Pre-surgery that number would have been about 60+ migraines and ...I would have been feeling terrible every day! Now, I work out weekly doing HIIT (high intensity interval training) and yoga. I met my goal with a 2-minute plank this week! I am so grateful for my new life! It is amazing to live each day without the symptoms and pain that I had pre-surgery. My deepest gratitude to Dr. Peled for guiding me and directing me for the last 3 years. If he had not directed me to the interventional radiologist who diagnosed the cerebral aneurysm, I may not be here writing this summary. He is so kind and deeply cares about his patients. I am grateful for his expertise in peripheral nerve surgery and migraine surgery. He and his team are compassionate and caring. Cary-Anne and Christina, his assistants, said their fuel for what they do is the success in helping their patients. This is so apparent in how they treat their patients and their steadfast focus on helping others." See more
