Dear patients and friends: due to the COVID-19 epidemic, we are making further changes to our schedule. We will be open Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 1 PM. We will continue to vaccinate our patients under two years of age and we will take care of our sick patients. We have isolated an area of our office to take care of the patients with fever and respiratory symptoms. For patients who cannot come to the office or prefer to stay at home, we are doing telemedicine consultations via Skype and FaceTime. Just call us and we will set up an appointment. Dear patients and friends: We are in the process of implementing a Telemedicine service to our practice. It should be ready to go in a few days. In the meantime if you want to have an audio-video conversation with us, please call the office to set up an appropriate time and we can communicate via Skype. This had been approved by the Office of Civil Rights and by the US Department of Health and Human Services. Telemedicine consultations are covered by most insurances and even though they are not ideal, they are quite useful these days. Please let me know what you think. Suggestions are welcome.

In view of the COVID-19 outbreak, we have made some changes to the way we provide care. We're still vaccinating kids under two years of age routinely in an attempt to prevent outbreaks of diseases that are regularly prevented by these immunizations. We don't need another infectious outbreak. We will continue to take care of our sick patients. We have modified our sick entrance and isolated it completely from the rest of the office so that we can take care of our patients with... fever and respiratory symptoms. We are requesting all patients to call us before coming to the office so we can make arrangements prior to their arrival, to prevent the spread of the COVID-19. We will remain open five days a week, but we are cutting hours to 9 AM to 4 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. On Thursdays we willbe open from 9 AM to 3 PM. Thank you for your support.
