The Palomar College Police Department stands in solidarity and beside the voices that speak out against social injustice. The police officers responsible for the death of George Floyd betrayed the trust of the community and the trust of our noble profession. We took an oath to defend the rights and liberties granted by the U.S. Constitution. We will forever defend those rights. Our values are rooted with human dignity and reverence for life. In support of this effort we are joining San Diego law enforcement in ending the use of the carotid control technique as a use of force option. The Palomar College Police Department takes great pride in serving our diverse community. Chris Moore Chief of Police #PCPDBlue
