Grillmasters killing the game today! This heatwave worked out perfectly for our monthly barbecue as we grilled up sausages, veggies, and Beyond Meat burgers!

Teardowns are not only fun, they’re the best way to stay up to date with the latest tech and processes being used across the industry. Learning what materials, components, and assembly techniques everyone else is using helps us when we need to make the same decisions. In this teardown we had to break out the Dremel and nearly destroy the product getting it apart because of how well sealed it was to be waterproof. The use of a flex circuit for the heating element was quite interesting, and the various layers of heat spreading material used to get even heating. #bringexperience #engineering #teardown #productdevelopment #dremel #diy #industrialdesign

For the next three weeks, PCH is hosting the inaugural edition of the California Innovation program. 24 students from 11 countries visiting companies like Patagonia, Dandelion Chocolate, and Tartine Bakery to learn what's fueling the food and apparel industry. They will take their insights back to their communities. In these, shots they start their day in our prototyping lab learning about product engineering and development. #bringexperience
