PCC Parent Education

Check-out our Fall schedule for our on-line Parent Ed. classes at: pasadena.edu/cec Classes begin August 24 and run through mid. December. Parent’s attend with their little ones from the comfort of their homes using Conferzoom. Our online classes feature a scheduled weekly session where parents engage in child-friendly interactive activities along with their child/children and other families online. Each session has a singing/story time followed by the sharing of children...'s arts and crafts projects, activities and ideas (depending on age of children). During each class session a parent education topic is discussed, related to child care or development and is often connected with assignments and articles to read on-line before class. Parents also share resources and have a chance to network with other parents or caregivers. We hope to see you and your little ones on "conferzoom."

We hope to see you and your little ones on "conferzoom." IMPORTANT NOTE FOR FALL 2020 CLASSES Online classes can be accessed in PCC’s Canvas system. Make sure to Log in to Canvas and complete the required Check-In Assignment for the class no later than 11:30pm Wednesday, August 26, or else you can be dropped for non-attendance.

Our Parent Ed. classes have been up and running on-line for about three weeks now. A special thank you and a "shout-out" to our amazing instructors who figured out how to make this happen in so many creative ways, keeping the integrity of our classes intact. If you didn't sign-up but want to join in the learning and fun ... from the comfort of your own home - it's not too late. Classes will meet remotely once a week until June 14. Latest Update on Parent Education Classes: From Monday, March 16th onwards there will be NO face-to-face classes running at our usual sites - we will be going on-line so check-in with your class instructor.

All PCC Parent Education classes are running as usual so there will be class tomorrow, Friday, March 13. This could change to on-line instruction at any time so before attending any parent ed. class please check your email to make sure there is no cancellation notice from your instructor.
