The pages of this book are a testament to the devotion of this disciple, as it is positively jammed with mounted and laid-in ephemera, correspondence and clippings contemporaneous to the events covered in the book. Grimsley's history of golf provides the framework for a who's who of golf autographs as titans of the game signed Heizmann's copy of the book in the chapters in which they are covered.
