A couple of days ago I realized that someone had snuck onto our property in Joshua Tree and dug up one of our old mature ocotillos and take it. It’s doubly sad because it is unlikely it will even survive being transplanted. It is really heart breaking that someone would do something like this. PLEASE when you are hiring landscapers make sure they are sourcing plants from reputable nurseries. Plant theft, especially of cactus is a huge problem in California. If not sure, go buy the plants from a nursery yourself and just hire labor to plant them. @ Joshua Tree, California
