My client ... enjoying our salon terrace! enjoying a nice breeze, with some sunshine and taking a break from wearing her mask inside the salon and getting some fresh air , while her color is processing. Once it’s done, she comes in for a nice relaxing wash in our beautiful, safe, clean, confortable sanitized salon; where we can control the environment. Too bad we are not allowed to do that anymore. I was hoping we’d be open by now, but our salons are ...still closed for indoor services. We are allowed to provide outdoor services for haircuts only though, in this 90F-100F weather. Some of the guidelines and protocols to operate outdoors is to continue to maintain clean, sanitized and have a comfortable environment as client and stylist continue to wear a mask. Clients are not even allowed to use the salon’s restroom! Sorry @gavinnewsom, @capublichealth and @cabarbercosmo but this is not possible, it’s not safe nor sanitary and it’s a degrading solution to our industry and profession. Dear clients, For your safety and mine, our salon (along with many others)will not be providing outdoors services. We are safer inside! A lot of you have been asking if I’m going to do outdoors salon services. We finally got the guidelines from the officials. Before and after reading some of these guidelines, have decided along with a lot of other fellow stylists, that For your safety and mine, I will not be working outdoors. Thank you for your understanding and support! I will keep you updated on any changes.
