On March 13, 2020 face-to-face classes were discontinued due to the COVID-19 shelter-in-place mandate and all instruction was converted to online Zoom format. Only in the last two week, were we able to finalize university approval of COVID safety policies and permitted to use the University Center Ballroom for instruction, and our students officially began Face-to-Face instruction today. It was a modest start with the first groups of students running through cases together, w...hile others followed on Zoom. This may not be what we dreamed returning to in-person instruction would look like, but it's a huge step for our program. Next week students will be running through OSCEs, and the plan is to catch students up on what they missed as a result of the past COVID restrictions. Keep moving forward.
