Exciting news! | Carolyn Dillinger has co-written a 2020 chapter update to CEB's Advising California Nonprofit Corporations. Chapter 20 Corporate Changes has over 100 pages and advises the readers on the complexities involved when California nonprofit corporations sell assets, merge, or dissolve. The chapter update will be published this June, but the hours of work have already been completed and the revised chapter has been accepted by the editor.... Carolyn is honored to join the panel of respected nonprofit lawyers who write and edit this publication.

Today Carolyn Dillinger met with Michael Garcia over lunch at Olive Garden. Mike is a banker at Evangelical Christian Credit Union or ECCU as folks call it. ECCU services churches and Christian nonprofit organizations and for-profit companies when the owners will sign the statement of faith. Mike works with so many churches and brings value to help churches strengthen their financial situation and make sound financial decisions.... Celebrating my Sweet 16, as a California lawyer that is! Just as thankful now as I was on Day 1 when I teared up as I raised my right hand and took the oath. I am thankful to be able to serve the vibrant entrepreneur and nonprofit communities in California.... Sixteen years ago I didn’t fully appreciate that being a lawyer could somehow be flexible enough for me as my husband and I would later welcome baby #1, #2, and #3. Life has thrown us some curveballs but I am so thankful to God that He helped me tackle law school early on so that the firm was established before things got complicated.
