Dear friends and Pasha Lounge lovers, As most of you know, we had to close down Pasha Lounge on January 10th, 2017 due to issues with our previous landlord after six years of great success. We were simply forced to close down our business because we were successful and our landlord knew that.The space has been vacant since which is not surprising at all. It was very disappointing to walk away from a very successful business and it was even harder to walk away from lots of cus...tomers that made Pasha Lounge a great success in the past six years. Pasha Lounge was San Diego’s first upscale hookah lounge & beer / wine bar that became a very well known business not just in San Diego but all around the world. It’s been about three months since we closed down the business and during that time we’ve received many messages, e-mails and calls from a lot of people that asking if we are planning on opening Pasha Lounge at a new location. Both of the owners Bunyamin Alkan and Masud Sarwary got other business ventures and moved on with their businesses. However, we had few people contact us about using the Pasha Lounge brand in their new business ventures and also there are others that want to open up a hookah lounge under Pasha Lounge brand and use our expertise, which is priceless. We know that if we were to go for it, we can create something even more amazing and make Pasha Lounge a great success once again. This post is to inform you that we wanted to reach out to you all Pasha lovers before making any decision because we rather pass it onto people that will keep the legacy going and give the brand the attention it deserves. Customers are ready, employees are ready, and most importantly our expertise is ready for your use. For the past year, we’ve been negotiating with our landlord to get a new lease that makes sense for both sides but she literally made the deal impossible and we are forced to close down our business. The terms of the lease are totally unacceptable to us and we simply won’t let a greedy landlord take advan...tage of us. We have no intention of walking away from our business and we did everything we could to keep our business but she left us with no other option. This is a perfect example of a how unreasonable and ungrateful landlord can kill a successful business and put 40+ people out of job including our employees, vendors, etc Pasha Lounge is San Diego’s first upscale hookah lounge that became a very well known local business not just in San Diego but all around the world. We were awarded Favorite Hookah Lounge in the Gaslamp both in 2015 and 2016 and were chosen the BEST Hookah Lounge in San Diego over and over again. We created many amazing memories in the past six years and its definitely heartbreaking that we have to close down our business. We believe that everything happens for a reason and god has better plans for all of us. We thank you for being a loyal customer for the past 6 years that we have been in business.
