After decades of Big Tobacco's lies & tricks to hook generations of kids on deadly nicotine products, CA took decisive action to end the sale of candy-flavored tobacco products, including menthol, by saying #YesonSB793! We're proud to have worked so hard on this important bill! #cafightsflavors
Happy #NationalDogDay from Pupschal Ruff
"Few bills that pass through Sacramento have as much potential to save lives as SB 793." - Los Angeles Times Editorial Board CA lawmakers must vote #YesonSB793 to stop Big Tobacco from prioritizing profits over kids' lives! #CAfightsflavors

Voting #YESonProp25 this November will make California’s justice system more fair and equal. Under the current money bail system, people who are arrested even for minor, non-violent offenses remain locked up and risk losing their jobs or even their homes if they can’t afford to pay a non-refundable fee to a bail bondsman - which costs an average of $5,000. Money bail criminalizes poverty, and discriminates against people of color. VOTE YES on #Prop25 this November 3rd to replace unfair money bail with a system that prioritizes safety and justice for all.
The misguided Uber, Lyft, and Doordash ballot measure has a number! Uber, Lyft and Doordash wrote Prop 22 and paid to put it on the ballot for one reason only: so they can boost their profits by continuing to unfairly deny their drivers wages, sick leave, workers compensation and unemployment. Vote NO on Prop 22 this November to tell app companies they must play by the same rules as all other businesses - treat their workers fairly and follow state law.
UFCW workers support strong face covering policies to help keep workers and shoppers safe.
