Underage drinking is happening in the City of Pomona. The data here shows that youth have consumed alcohol within a 30-day period this current school year (2020-2021). So parents, adults, caregivers if you have alcohol in your home PLEASE keep it under lock and monitored at all times. Alcohol. The most commonly abused drug by youth. Having the conversation about alcohol is important. Having that conversation often is vital, it reinforces and sometimes reestablishes boundaries in and outside your home. Outreach is more difficult this year as students are still attending classes remotely and so school-site activities are limited. We are calling on LITTLE FREE LIBRARY and Stewards throughout Pomona to mark the occasion and to decorate your own LFLs with brigh...t red ribbons and bows. P3 has these available for your use along with some giveaways, such as pencils, erasers, stickers, etc. for you to place inside your Little Free Library.
