He hovered over the face of the waters at Creation. He is the one who brings about the work of New Creation. Jesus’ birth and resurrection was by the power of the Holy Spirit. The ministry of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Jesus (Phil 1:19; Acts 16:7; Gal. 4:6; Rom. 8:9) cannot be separated from the ministry of Jesus. To understand the full scope and open to the Holy Spirit, we need to take a deep dive into the Gospels and to understand the true ministry of Jesus.

Obeying the Commands of Christ is not about servanthood but about friendship with Jesus. If we say that we love Jesus but don't obey His commands, then we don't know the heart the Son of God who observed every command of the Father. We’re called into true knowledge of the Son of God who is worthy of all worship, our full allegiance and obedience to His commands.
