Hi Guys -- Been a while, lots happening here with the Revolutionary "Dance Patent". So let's examine "Lead and Follow", a term that has been with us for at least 80 years. So the idea is that the Leaderum Leads by instigating some action and the Follower.errr Follows by reacting to it. This has led to some of the FAM Chain Studios using the term Action, Reaction which is at best just rehashing the terms Leader and Follower. It's time for something better. Some...thing that Dancers can, themselves, easily understand. This is what really must happen (if anyone wants the (Patent Pending) logic and math proofs, let me know): A Dancer is referred to as Leader, or more accurately Instigator communicates to another Dancer (Follower) that a movement or travel should occur. At that precise instance of communication, the Instigator has absolutely no information as to what Follower will do until AFTER it has happened. (If you want the precise timings on this, let me know). Admittedly, Instigator is aware of a statistical likelihood of what the Follower is unlikely to do which gives rise to a statistical indication what that Follower is likely to do. This entire process is known as The Dancers Uncertainty Principle. Ok, so I stole it from Schrodinger and was too modest to call it Nandhra’s Uncertainty Principle. Either way, Instigator has absolutely no certainty as to where Follower will be until after that event has occurred. Therefore Instigator synchronizes with the NEW reality of the position of Follower after Follower has achieved that position. The (Patent Pending) math and logic behind this is inescapably true and results in the best possible connection between Instigator (formerly leader) and Follower. While other possibilities exist, they are sub-optimal and not as effective as briefly described herein.

One of our owners, Ian Nandhra has filed an application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for a Patent entitled Principles, Methodology and System for Teaching and Practicing Dance. Our classes are based on facts - mathematics and science . Real Factually Based Instruction. And it works really, really, really well.
