Dedicated 12 mm Sliding Dropouts

Our Dedicated 12 mm Sliding Dropout, an adjustable dropout that is specifically designed for 12 mm hubs, are now available for sale! When assembled, the skewer assists in maintaining the position of the inserts in the frame components, making it more robust and stable. Additionally, the inserts are kept in place by use of a keyway, washer, and capscrew that help to minimize slippage. Made from 6/4 titanium or 17/4 stainless steel, the frame components are flat and 5 mm thick ...at the chainstay and seatstay tabs. The total sliding adjustment is 0.63". Left side inserts will eventually be available for ISO, flat and post mount brake applications, and right side inserts will include options for a conventional hanger, no hanger, and SRAM and Shimano Direct Mount derailleurs. We received feedback that some customers were having problems with the adhesive used to attach the hanger to our Bobi flat mount dropouts. A hole has been added to the right side frame component and hanger to accommodate a M2 x 8 FHCS; use both the adhesive and screw to ensure the most secure mounting. Please remember that the hanger pocket must be free from paint and coatings prior to application of the adhesive.
