The awesome human Barbara Britt who is linked to this Facebook birthday fundraiser gave 30 plus years of her life to Pediatric Oncology at CHLA. She specialized in fighting brain tumors as nurse practitioner. CHLA had the reputation for seeing more Pediatric brain tum...or patients than any other facility in the world during her career there. If it wasn’t for her heart and help in my sons brain Tumor journey he probably wouldn’t be alive today. Many other families can say the same. Brain Tumors are the most underfunded cancers out there. Especially Pediatric Brain Tumors. To all the households that have been affected by childhood cancer, we care, we pray for you, we are part of your community. As a family business, our oldest had a long victorious battle with a brain tumor. He was diagnosed at the age of 3. While he has disabilities, we are blessed and thankful for him everyday. God bless all of you currently battling. ... During the toughest of times we were blessed with a good support network. There were so many good people who volunteered their time and resources at the Ronald McDonald house. We’d like to pay some of those meals we received forward.
