Just finished a lesson about subjects in school with my student. She had a hard time to learn the vocabulary. We created a Mindmap and organized the different school subjects in groups like: very logical subjects, things you have to learn by heart or very creative subjects. In the second step we added common sentences about the topic like: - Heute habe ich ...... - In der ersten Stunde habe ich ... - in der letzten Stunde habe ich ... And we also added some adjectives for the topic (schwer, leicht, interessant, langweilig). She learned that all today in school and she had different worksheets for it and we organized it all at one piece of paper to have an overview about the topic. This overview will help her to learn vocabulary AND build sentences

A game for the weekend: Try to build German words with the letters! The letter in the middle must be part of the word! The other around can be part of it and they can also used once or several times

Through globalization , the world has become a bigger place for every individual, but technology has also shortened distances and increased the pace of everything. Meetings on another continent are no longer a rarity . Where for previous generations the world ended at the city walls, today the world is united and thus the reach of businesses and cultures is much more comprehensive. Therefore, task number one today (for learners of all ages) is to keep up with trends and developments and to face new challenges every day ! THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC has shown that this does not only concerns adults as children now have to deal with new unfamiliar learning situations too . This is where a thorough knowledge of the learning process can help . By analyzing and exploring individual learning processes, remote learning will be successful without barriers .
