Owning a winery is a weird thing This goes back a long way. We lean on each other and we understand each other’s struggles. We have helped each other and there are a handful of us left. I worked for the Harts 26 years ago, before we owned a winery. This family has been in our lives for so long. Things change and businesses change but there are still those of us who remember. A lot of us have had our kids go to school together and grow up together and everything that happens and every loss is great. Christine helped me SO much through this whole winery wife life I will miss her so much. I’m so sorry Jim. She will be missed sending love to the Harts and Hart Winery

Veraison, in viticulture is the onset of ripening of the fruit. Believe it or not, all grapes start off green. Our beloved Cabernet fruit matures through a process called veraison.
