Palmdale Repertory Theatre is pleased to announce our upcoming production of Louisa May Alcott's comic tragedy, Norna; Or, The Witch's Curse. This will be a virtual production that will be live on Zoom on Friday, Oct. 30th. Auditions will be done via Zoom. Count Louis - Lover of Leonore. Adrian - The Black Mask. Hugo - A Bandit. Gaspard - Captain of the Guard. Angelo - A Page. Theresa - Wife to Rodolpho. Leonore - In love with Louis. Norna - A Witch. The show will be directed by Alex Wallis and the assistant director will be Courtney Unander. (Courtney designed the graphic for the show.) Directors, PRT is looking for submissions for our October show. Due to Covid-19, and lack of available rehearsal space, added to uncertainty with our venue, PRT has moved our final show of the season, "A Gentleman's Guide To Love and Murder," to next fall. This is where you, the directors, come in. We are looking for a show to fill this slot (Oct 16-25) . However, due to the uncertainty of the availability of our venue, we need a show that could be produced either live or virtually (like a reader's theatre). Legally Blonde the Musical Update: As a board it has been decided that we will be moving the show Legally Blonde the Musical to the Summer slot of our 2021 season. This decision comes in the wake of there being too many question marks about our venue's availability this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is still unknown how and when theater's will be allowed to open. Thank you to all of our patrons for being patient with us as we navigate these uncertain times. We are committed to finding the safest and best possible way to bring theater back to our community. As we move forward, we will be bringing more announcements regarding the rest of our season as things develop.

Legally Blonde Auditions A Message from the Director: Hello Everyone,... My name is Kevin Clark, I am the Director for Legally Blonde. I have to write this email out of everyone's safety. Today I was informed that there is a possibility someone I know had been exposed to the COVID-19 Virus. Pending test results and to be proactive I am making the hard decision to push it back.. This decision is being made for everyone's safety and to avoid the risk of further exposure. Please understand this is by no means a full cancellation. We are simply moving the dates back by one month in order to be safe. I understand this might result in dates that do not work out for everyone and I apologize for the inconvenience. Please know that we will still do Video submissions when the time comes and would still love to see all of you audition by any means available. OUR NEW AUDITION DATES WILL BE: JUNE 19TH and 20TH Please mark your calendars and keep an eye on the PRT Facebook page as there will be frequent updates. It is with very heavy hearts that the City of Palmdale, The Palmdale Playhouse and Palmdale Repertory Theatre announce that all remaining performances of Mary Poppins have been canceled, in the best interests of public health, in dealing with the current global COVID19 epidemic. We are happy that we at least got to perform one weekend. Thanks to everyone who supported and worked tirelessly on the production including our extremely talented cast and crew, City of Palmdale staff, and theatre patrons. Unfortunately, our practicality perfect nanny now has to fly away. Much love to all, and thank you for supporting local theatre.
