Heya gang! The @west.coast.gliders will be running a 10k course for the @hanohano_outrigger Huki challenge this weekend out at liberty station via @west_coast_sup_rentals location. Start time will be 10am. If you still need to knock out this race or want to try it out in a different venue you’re totally welcomed! We will have a timer at the start and finish so that way you can just focus on getting the race done! Look I get it, there are times we find ourselves familiar with someone and unknowingly ask for advice that is essentially tied to someone’s livelihood. I have lost count on how many times I have been asked to give tips/advice/water plans for free. As much as I would love to be a philanthropist in regards to coaching, I have made it a point to do my homework to ensure that I understand my athletes receive the highest level of training. If you’re truly serious about achieving n...ew results let’s sit down and have a conversation, let me understand you, let me get a sense as to what you are trying to achieve. Let me see how serious you are before we go any further. Asking me for tips is not only doing me a disservice but it’s also lessening your chances on achieving your next goal. @coachred41 runs a non profit youth development program @west.coast.gliders (it’s official!) it’s mission is to provide paddlers of all ages an environment in where they are provided instructor lead programming to help further develop confidence in one’s ability, a better understanding of the fundamentals of paddling and be part of a community that promotes proper sportsmanship conduct and environmental awareness.
