Teachers and students have loved our last Virtual Field Trip of the school year featuring Versa-Style Dance Company! We were discussing how to have a Growth Mindset, be proactive, and follow your dreams. Seeing so many different types of people performing really showed the students that anyone can do anything with practice and hard work. -Cambria Grammar School Teacher (K-2nd)... The content was fantastic, and the presentation provided for so much interaction and movement! -Bellevue-Santa Fe Charter School Teacher (2nd-3rd) This performance is generously sponsored by Bank of the Sierra
A little feature on us from Cal Poly Administration & Finance! We are proud to serve our local arts community and the university!
Law enforcement from across the country, community members and family gathered today to honor San Luis Obispo Police Dept. Detective Luca Benedetti at the Performing Arts Center. Benedetti was shot and killed after serving a search warrant in San Luis Obispo. He is believed to be the first police officer to be shot and killed in the line of duty in SLO County in over 30 years. We were honored to host the memorial today to celebrate the life of an outstanding officer and member of the Cal Poly community.
