A helpful and inspiring post about how the Coronavirus is changing the way we do funerals. We can still make meaningful events and times together, even in a time of quarantine

We are taking this to heart. With a sincere desire to be mindful of the new precautions, we wanted to share an update on the practices and changes we are undertaking to be responsible and respectful. Below is an update to the precautions we are taking to best care for our families during the COVID-19 outbreak. The journey of grief is even more complicated during these uncertain times. Here is what we are doing to keep you safe and inspire your trust:... Pacific Cremation Services continues to adhere to guidelines recommended by the CDC, the California Department of Public Health, and the Orange County Health Care Agency. We are open and will continue to care for you and your loved one day or night, every day of the year. The continuum of care that we offer is unparalleled and gives the families we serve tremendous peace-of-mind, especially during these unsettling times. We are offering phone/email family appointments if you prefer not to come into our office to make arrangements for your loved one. If you choose to come in for your appointment, we require that you limit the number of people attending to two (2). Enhanced hygiene practices and social distancing are in effect with our team. We are in constant contact with our faith community partners, cemeteries, hospitals, as well as state and local health officials on steps we can take to help prevent the spread of the virus. We continue to ask that those at risk or those not feeling well stay home. We encourage you to reach out to the family via the memorial page on PacificCremationServices.com. Please continue to follow the CDC recommendations to prevent the spread of this virus. Click here for more information https://www.cdc.gov If you have any questions about how we operate, we are happy to answer them with as much detail as you wish. Sincerely, Joe Fitzgerald, CEO/CFO

What we’re doing to inspire your trust and keep you safe during these uncertain times: Pacific Cremation Services is adhering to guidelines recommended by the CDC and the California Department of Public Health. We anticipate that attendance at services will decrease due to the public awareness. We do ask that those at risk or those not feeling well stay home and reach out to the family via the memorial page on PacificCremationServices.com. If you are attending services, plea...se follow the CDC recommendations. Click here for more information https://www.cdc.gov We clean our facilities daily and have heightened daily disinfection practices for high-touch surfaces. If anyone on our team is ill, they stay home until they are well no exceptions. We are practicing social distancing and are following CDC recommendations to prevent the spread of illness and we encourage you to do the same: Maintain a distance of approximately 6 feet from others when possible Wash your hands frequently with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds Avoid touching your eyes, nose, mouth, and unwashed hands Cover your coughs and sneezes with your arm or inner elbow Avoid close contact with sick people Stay home when you are sick or not feeling well If you have any questions about how we operate, we are happy to answer them with as much detail as you wish.
