Thanks to our friends over at The Wine Industry Network for sharing this, and inviting us to attend this year's North Coast Wine Expo! We are exciting to be participating again as a chemical distributor to the wine industry. This year's WIN Expo will be held at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds on Thursday December 4th! PCC is booth #809 this year, and plans to feature its products for the wine industry that include enzymes, nutrients, yeast nutrients and fermentation acids!

Flash back Friday to our Berkeley headquarters back in the 1970s! Pacific Coast Chemicals Co’s history dates back to 1968, when Aaron, Don and Patricia Stull, opened a small firm, in Berkeley, California. In the beginning it mainly sold chemical raw materials to the paint and coatings, inks, plastics and resin industries. However, through dedication, imagination and a lot of elbow grease, the company gradually began selling in all 11 states west of the Rocky Mountains. PC...C acquired its first warehouse a few years after opening its doors and has continued to grow by adding strategic warehouses and suppliers which allows them to now service multiple industries. Now nearly 46 years later, Pacific Coast Chemicals is still owned and operated by members of the Stull family. Continuing to grow everyday, PCC owes a great deal of it's success to it's dedicated employees. Including several that have been with the company since the day this picture was taken.

At the Western Paint & Coatings Dinner, Joe King was awarded for 60+ years of outstanding service in the Paint & Coatings Industry. At 90+ years of age he is still active and employed by PCC. Joe currently resides in Southern California and maintains a territory for PCC. He continues to advise colleagues and enlighten them with his vast knowledge of the Paint & Coatings Industry. Joe has a very long history as a teacher and a mentor to many that know him. For those of ...you who do not know Joe’s history here are some of his accomplishments: McClosky Corporation-GM and National Sale Manager, Bauer Coatings and Chemical Division of Whittake Corporation, Reichhold- Sales Manager, General Paints-GM and technical expert. In addition, he holds four degrees: he graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelors and Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, he received another Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from California State University and a Master Degree in Business Administration from University of Southern California. He also served in the US Navy and is a veteran of World War II.
