The next storm system will bring showers and isolated downpours late Friday and persist intermittently through Sunday afternoon, though the bulk of the rain should be gone early Sunday. An isolated thunderstorm is also possible Saturday afternoon. Snow levels will range 5,000 to 6,000 feet late Friday, then steadily drop on Saturday to 4,000 to 5,000 feet. Snow levels will rise a bit on Sunday in advance of our next storm system with levels ranging 4,500 to 5,500 feet. Local ...mountains in San Diego County should receive a few inches of snow accumulation. A stronger storm will descend into the area next Monday and Tuesday. This system will bring periods of rain and occasional downpours. An isolated thunderstorm with heavy hail is also possible. Snow levels will plummet as Arctic air plunges southward. Snow levels should be 3,000 to 4,000 feet Monday, and as low as 2,500 to 3,500 feet Tuesday. Local mountains will receive an additional several inches of snow accumulation. We could possibly see yet another storm by next Thursday/Friday, though this is far down the road and there could be adjustments to the track of this storm. We will see.

Good morning everyone and I hope you had a nice Christmas. Just a brief FYI that it will be colder on Tuesday morning with potential freeze warnings throughout the inland valley areas. Please keep a sharp eye on those thermometers and protect your trees as best as possible. Have a nice weekend.

Good morning everyone and I hope you had a nice week. Cooler mornings and nights with warm days ahead here on the Coast as well as inland. I do not believe we will have as much rain as the last two years, but you never know what mother nature will bring our way. There is a slight chance of some showers late next week. If we do get some decent rain storms, then I suggest adding some epsom salt and / or used coffee grounds to your trees. Back off on fertilizing now and cut all your leaves off if you desire some additional energy and strength for your roots. Trees will start to go dormant as the days get shorter and the nights get long. Don't forget to turn your clocks back and have a nice and restful weekend :)
