Bay Day is Saturday, October 6 and there are lots of events happening in the Baylands produced by our partners Save The Bay (San Francisco). A Palo Alto naturalist is leading easy walks at 10:30am and 12:30pm from the nature center. And there are many more fun things to do: restoration activities, bioblitzing, food trucks, canoe tours - go to http://BayDay.org for all the events happening in the Palo Alto Baylands!

The Friendship Bridge will be closed today, 7/12/2018, until the end of the year as the San Francisquito Creek Joint Powers Authority continues work on the creek realignment project. That means the San Francisquito Creek Trail in the Baylands and the Bay Trail in East Palo Alto no longer connect via the bridge. See the link for more info on the project and for info on alternate routes. https://www.valleywater.org//san-francisquito-creek-bay-to
