Great news for anyone with kids in their lives! A new study shows that kids are twice as likely to make healthy food choices after watching cooking shows featuring healthy food. Researchers had kids watch a child-oriented cooking show and then offered them snacks afterward. Half of the children watched healthy foods being prepared, while the other half watched unhealthy food preparation.... The kids who watched the healthy food options were 2.7 times more likely to choose healthy snacks after watching the 10-minute show! The Takeaway: Researchers said letting kids see both how much and what kind of foods are healthier leads them to crave those healthier choices, then act on those cravings. Pretty interesting, right? Today I ran a Marathon at Point Pinole in some heat. I originally had planned to run with a group of friends in San Jose, but with really bad AQI, decided not to. ... These ladies knew I was planning to run and without me knowing planned to be there for me. They planned all to the teeth.AID Station, pacing , cheering, and post race celebration. From what I like during race to post race, they had it all there. Balloons, flowers, cupcakes from Gala Bakery, pizza, champagne, mimosa’s ,fruits & chilled beer. They even cordinated what to wear. I ran 4 loops of 10K, each round someone was running with me & my friend. They gave all their Sunday to me. I love my FITFAM." This is what the P2P family is all about! We are so proud of Sama for running 40km and Paula, Nancy, Lisa, Sandra & Anisha for supporting her!

When your friends hold you accountable and you hustle to make the 6pm class! We're so glad you made it Logan. She got herself handed a sweaty a$$ arm day by Coach Nancy and some fun dancing and laughter with good friends! Then ended the class with the best treats made by our girl Bianca Musico!
